Noble power and poetry

Wolfgang Amadeus MOZART The Abduction from the Seraglio: Overture
Ludwig van BEETHOVEN Piano Concerto No.3
Sergei PROKOFIEV Symphony No.5

Otto Tausk conductor
Behzod Abduraimov piano

Some of the most soulful of all Beethoven’s music is found in his ever-popular piano concertos. With great beauty and harmony, classical music’s most famous radical delivers an elegant contrast of power and poetry in his Third Piano Concerto. We are thrilled to welcome back the exceptional pianist Behzod Abduraimov to perform this perennial favourite.

Prokofiev's Symphony No.5 is full of uniquely beautiful melodies, with contrasting powerful movements led by conductor Otto Tausk.
