Johannes BRAHMS
Academic Festival Overture
Symphony No.4
Asher Fisch conductor
Our final Spring Fest concert opens with Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, a jubilant and jocular celebration of student life. Followed by Brahms’ final and finest symphony, the Fourth, an astounding work that captures the very essence of his musical genius. In the hands of Asher Fisch, this cornerstone of the symphonic repertoire will make a truly unforgettable finale to WASO’s Spring Fest at Winthrop Hall.

We will do everything in our power to present the program listed but we may have to vary the repertoire or artists. If that happens, we will let you know.
