Joyful and bewitching

MENDELSSOHN The Hebrides
MOZART Violin Concerto No.5
DVORAK Symphony No.8

Jessica Gethin conductor
Emmalena Huning violin

We introduce a white-hot rising star of the violin in Emmalena Huning to perform Mozart’s exquisite fifth violin concerto with WASO. Then, explore the rich emotional palette of a beautiful Bohemian soundscape with Dvořák’s joyfully melodic and beguiling eighth symphony.

Seating allocations for this concert have been designed for physical distancing in accordance with current Government restrictions.

Wesfarmers Arts Pre-Concert Talk

Join us from 6:45pm - 7:10pm (or 4:15pm - 4:40pm on Sunday) at the Terrace Level Corner Stage for an illuminating pre-concert talk with Tim White. All concert-goers are welcome to attend the free concert talks.

We will do everything in our power to present the remixed program listed but, as we all know, we may have to vary the repertoire or artists should Government guidelines or travel restrictions change. If that happens, we will let you know.
