The State Theatre Centre of WA is located across the road from Perth Station and Perth Busport, making public transport a great option for travelling to and from the theatre. The Transperth JourneyPlanner provides up-to-date information to help you find the best route.
There are several secure car park facilities with accessible parking bays located within a short walk from State Theatre Centre. These include:
- City of Perth State Library Car Park: This is a 24-hour undercover car park with access from Francis Street. There are seven ACROD bays, two at basement level and five on the ground floor.
- City of Perth Cultural Centre Car Park: This is an undercover car park with access from Roe Street. There are four ACROD bays with two on each level.
- City of Perth Roe Street Car Park: This is an undercover car park with access from Roe Street. There are five ACROD bays.

Lift access is from the State Theatre Centre main foyer up to the Heath Ledger Theatre foyer (level 2). There is a separate lift that can then take patrons up to the upper stalls and circle. There are accessible toilets available on the main foyer level, Heath Ledger Theatre foyer level, upper stalls and circle.
Wheelchair seating – Stalls Row E, Stalls Row O and Circle Row G include designated wheelchair seats and are accessible by lift. All other rows are accessible by steps. The venue has two wheelchairs available on-site which can be requested for use prior to the performance. Please contact the venue directly if you would like a staff member to meet you at the entrance with a wheelchair on the night of your attendance. This can be booked by calling 08 6212 9200.
Accessible toilets are available on the main foyer level (in the Courtyard), Heath Ledger Theatre foyer level (closest for Stalls Row E), as well as the upper stalls (closest for Stalls Row O) and circle (closest for Circle Row G).
ACROD parking bays are located at all three City of Perth parking locations (see above) nearby and are subject to availability.
Assisted hearing system (hearing loop) – Most hearing aid models have a switch that gives you access to receive signals either from the hearing aid microphone or a loop system. Heath Ledger Theatre allows sound to be amplified for patrons through their telecoil enabled hearing aids. Patrons using the service simply approach the Front of House Manager before the performance as they will need to turn on their telecoil switch and/or device which will pick up the relevant signal. Also available is the Sennheiser Infra Red Assisted Hearing System. Receivers for this service can be borrowed and collected from the Front of House Manager prior to each performance.
Companion cards are accepted for all WASO performances at Heath Ledger Theatre.

Heath Ledger Theatre has a fully licenced bar that is open one hour prior to each performance and post-concert. The foyer bar offers small snacks along with drinks.
Drinks purchased at the theatre bar may be taken into the auditorium.

- Chicho Gelato: A trendy gelateria offering inventive, small-batch gelato flavours crafted from premium local and seasonal ingredients. WASO Subscribers receive a free chocolate or whipped cream topping on presentation of their ticket.

The venue box office is located in the main foyer of the State Theatre Centre. The box office will be open 90 minutes before each performance and closed during the interval and post-concert.
