A stunning example of Edwardian era architecture ‘The Maj’, as it is affectionately known, is Perth’s most opulent theatre and has become a much-loved West Australian heritage icon since opening in 1904.
His Majesty's Theatre is a 10-minute walk from the Perth train and bus station. The free RED CAT route includes a stop at "His Majesty's" on Hay Street. The RED CAT operates every five minutes from 6.40am-6.20pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays), and hourly on the weekends between 8.30am and 5pm. Undercover parking is available at the following carparks near the venue:
His Majesty's Theatre Carpark, City of Perth Parking (enter from 377 Murray Street).
Central Park Carpark, Wilson Parking (enter from 152 - 158 St Georges Terrace).
Cloisters Square Carpark (enter from Hay Street opposite Shafto Lane).

Lift Access - All levels of the theatre are accessible by a lift, which is located inside the main foyer.
Wheelchair Seating –is available exclusively in the stalls (ground level) and can be reserved on booking with the WASO Ticketing and Customer Service team.
Accessible Toilet - is available on the ground level.
ACROD Parking bays are located in the His Majesty’s Theatre Carpark and the Central Park Carpark (see above) and are subject to availability.
Assisted Hearing System (Hearing Loop) – most hearing aid models have a switch that gives you access to receive signals either from the hearing aid microphone or a loop system. His Majesty’s hearing loop is installed in the box office, Main Auditorium and Dress Circle Bar of His Majesty's Theatre. Once a telecoil switch on a hearing aid is turned on in the auditorium it will automatically pick up the signal. Patrons aiming to use the service may simply approach the Front of House Manager before the performance as they will need to turn on their telecoil switch and/or device which will pick up the relevant signal.
Companion Cards are accepted for all WASO performances at His Majesty’s Theatre.

The theatre foyer bars offer beverages and light snacks.
