WASO Conducting Fellowship

The WASO Conducting Fellowship is designed to nurture and support aspiring conductors, assisting them in finding their professional pathways and helping to secure a bright future for music in Australia.

Through a year-long schedule of workshops, seminars and podium experience with WASO ensembles, this program provides talented West Australian-based conductors the opportunity to enhance their musical and technical skills. Mentored by WASO’s Associate Conductor Jen Winley, participants will also gain access to WASO rehearsals, workshops and concerts.

Following an extensive application process WASO is pleased to announce that Daniel Corvaia, Sara Duhig and Leanne Puttick will participate in this exciting professional development opportunity with WASO throughout 2024. Click here to read the media release.
