Legendary Australian band The Cat Empire are making their way around the country with a brand-new orchestral concert experience – finishing with an epic finale with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

Featuring world-class flamenco artists, Richard Tedesco, Johnny Tedesco and Chantelle Cano, this tour will showcase a vibrant orchestral reinterpretation of The Cat Empire’s new material and classic hits.

The Cat Empire have been illuminating stages across the globe for the past two decades, captivating millions of adoring fans with their high energy performances and explosive sound.

Celebrating a fresh new era for the band, original members Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill have welcomed bassist Grace Barbe, drummer Daniel Farrugia and percussionist Neda Rahmani into the Empire.

New influences will see the band lean into the vibrant worlds of Afro-Cuban, Seychellois Kreol, Brazilian and flamenco music. Combined with lead singer Riebl’s unique musical style, The Cat Empire creates a sound that is truly international while still remaining true to the band’s unique place in the Australian musical landscape.
