Support well-being, nurture your community and foster inclusivity through music
Beyond our stellar performances, WASO is deeply invested in nurturing the future architects of music, be they musicians, composers, or conductors. From captivating WASO in Schools performances, that often mark a child's first orchestral encounter, to our prestigious Composition Project; where emerging composers are mentored, we pave accessible avenues for musical exploration and enjoyment.
Our outreach initiatives share live music experiences with those who cannot ordinarily access our Orchestra on the mainstage. Music for the Ages delivers chamber ensembles directly to older adults who are unable to attend mainstage concerts. Connect fosters intimate and interactive concerts for adults living with disabilities, and the Hospital Orchestra Project (HOP) brings the healing power of live music to the wards of Perth Children’s Hospital.
We invite you to join us in nurturing a musical ecosystem for our community that is both accessible and educational.
