WASO in Schools Program
Throughout the year, WASO's small ensembles visit primary schools around WA, introducing young learners to the instruments and musicians of the orchestra.
In these 45-minute incursion concerts, students will enjoy musical excerpts and hear directly from the players, gaining insight into the life of a professional musician.
This is a free program for schools with an ICSEA score of below 1000.

Harmony Music Program
Our Harmony Music program brings WASO's small ensembles into Education Support Centres, giving students who need extra learning support a chance to experience live music up close.
In these relaxed concerts, small ensembles of WASO musicians introduce students to live music through a 30-minute program of fun, familiar, and engaging music.
Our Harmony Music Program dates for this year have passed. Please check back in October for our 2027 dates.

NextGen: Explore ATAR & More
Build your secondary students' confidence in their music studies with this engaging concert, conducted by John Keene and presented by Dr Ashley Smith, with UWA music students performing side-by-side with WASO.
Designed to support secondary music students, this program explores the ATAR set works through clear discussion, highlighting key compositional techniques and providing detailed analysis to help students connect with the music and their learning.
