It’s New Year’s Eve and the charmingly mischievous Eisenstein finds himself embroiled in a night of pure chaos. As champagne flows, a series of hilarious misunderstandings unfolds, turning the pursuit of mischief into a sparkling confection of masked mayhem and high-spirited hijinks!

Johann Strauss’ beloved operetta is celebrated for its vibrant score and comedic brilliance. Winthrop Hall is transformed with Viennese charm in this concert production led by Asher Fisch and featuring a captivating all-star Australian cast.

Asher Fisch appears courtesy of Wesfarmers Arts. Libretto by C. Haffner and R. Genée after Meilhac and Halévy. English dialogue by Andrew Foote.  Dramatic narration and spoken dialogue performed in English. Sung in German with English surtitles.

Duration: 2 hrs*, including a 25 minute interval
