Experience the power

Ottorino RESPIGHI Fountains of Rome
Samuel BARBER Toccata festiva
Camille SAINT-SAËNS Symphony No.3 Organ Symphony

Asher Fisch conductor
Joseph Nolan organ

The 3000 pipes of Perth Concert Hall’s glorious organ resound in this spectacular program.

We begin with Respighi’s colourful tribute to the eternal city, Fountains of Rome. Then, Perth’s own Joseph Nolan, one of the world’s greatest organists, performs Samuel Barber’s exuberant and fiendishly virtuosic tour de force, Toccata festiva. And for a blazing conclusion, one of the most popular and grandest works of all – Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony.
